# edd_set_payment_transaction_id

The *edd\_set\_payment\_transaction\_id* filter is applied to the transaction ID before it is set by the [edd\_set\_payment\_transaction\_id() function](https://easydigitaldownloads.com/docs/edd_set_payment_transaction_id/). The filter receives two parameters:

- $payment\_id
