Joel Williams joins the support team

We are thrilled to announce that our small team has just gotten one man larger with the addition of Joel Williams, who will be assisting in the support forums.

As Easy Digital Downloads continues to grow, our determination to provide top-notch support does too. In order to achieve both, we need more fingers on keyboards answering tickets. Joel has already shown his colors as a great support agent and we look forward to letting you all get to know him as well.

I will let Joel tell you a bit more about himself in his own words:

I’ve been blogging since before it was called blogging in the last century and have built hundreds and hundreds of WordPress powered websites and blogs. BlogTechGuy.com is a website solutions company that I started over five years ago. I setup, customize and fix WordPress.org websites and blogs for hundreds of individuals and small businesses. I create sites from scratch or customize them using themes and theme frameworks. I do everything from chopping up Photoshop designs and implementing custom features, to training someone how to set a future publish date for a post.

I’m originally from near Liverpool in England.

After working for two of the largest companies in the UK (Ford Motor Company and The Post Office) doing site performance analysis, I followed my wife across the pond and settled in sunny San Diego, CA, where I started Blog Tech Guy.

When I’m not blogging, writing HTML and CSS or customizing websites, you’ll find me watching football/soccer (Liverpool of course!), brewing my own beer at home, or spending time with my two and a half year old son, Logan.
