    Pippin,

Maybe a good suggestion or not …will see!

I would like to tell you that you are very close to be able to offer a full download file manager. I explain:

The idea would be to be able by ftp to upload all files that you want to offer for sale or for free:

    1) upload all files in one specific folder
    2) click import from EDD
    3) all files are there ready to be displayed, either for sale or for free download
    3) one feature would be to map automatically all folders, sub-folders, sub-sub in one go
    4) by the same token names of the folder would become categories, sub-categories …folder name= category name
    5) the structure of the tree folder would be respected at 100%, whatever numbers of level

I know that there is a CSV plugin for that but in my case, I have hundreds of files that are not in a csv file. I would need to create that…but too much files!

It goes without saying that your initial goal was far from creating a download file manager script. This said, I feel that this extra step is becoming closer as more and more extra features are added constantly.

It could be offered as an extra module, a paying one or simply integrate somewhere in the future.

    Just my $0.02 cents!

I am preparing a new website to show my work as a graphic designer. It will have two versions: english and portuguese. Each one will be on its own domain ( cartunesco.com and cartunesco.com.br ), so, in fact, we’re talking of two websites. I’m already implanting the EDD shop at the english site. I’m using the purchase limit extension and there will be only one unity of each item for sale (they are exclusive ownership products of graphic design). With EDD Multisite Control will it be possible to coordinate both websites so, after a client purchases a product in the english site, the button sold out appears in the english AND in the portuguese website and vice versa, making it unavailable in both? I just want to be sure before buying this extension. Thank you in advance.

No, sorry, that is not that this extension is for. It just manages store settings (not products) across sites in a WordPress Multisite install.

Hi. Please could you advise whether easydigitaldownloads provides encrypted download links. Also does it automatically enable downloads or it is still necessary to log into the admin panel and manually trigger the download?

    Many thanks

Yes, all download links are protected.

The downloads begin as soon as the customer clicks on a valid link.
