Introducing Themedd, a free theme for Easy Digital Downloads
We’re very excited to introduce Themedd, the latest addition to our family of themes.
Themedd was created to be a solid starting point for both end users and developers alike. Designed to be clean and simple right out of the box, Themedd makes it quick and easy to set up a store with Easy Digital Downloads to sell your digital products.
Themedd also supports the Frontend Submissions extension (and the rest of the Digital Marketplace Bundle) so setting up your own marketplace is a breeze.
This is how Themedd displays downloads when using the [downloads] shortcode from Easy Digital Downloads:

Theme Options
Themedd supports native WordPress features so you can add a site logo, site icon, header image, background image, menus, widgets and more. Also included are options for enabling a full width layout or displaying excerpts for posts.

Creating the perfect color scheme for your site has never been easier thanks to the large selection of built-in color options:

Easy Digital Downloads
When Easy Digital Downloads is installed and activated, new theme options specific to Easy Digital Downloads will appear.
With the Distraction Free Checkout option enabled, the checkout page is drastically simplified to prevent distractions. Header menus, footer widgets (if set), and sidebars are all removed. Doing so improves the customer’s experience and helps reduce cart abandonment. The site title and logo (if set) are linked to the site’s homepage so the customer can find their way back.
Showing a customer the number of items in their cart, the cart total, and providing a link to checkout is a key aspect of any eCommerce website. Themedd makes it easy to show exactly what you want to the customer with 7 possible combinations to choose from. Below are a few examples of how this option can be configured.

Enhanced integrations
Themedd provides 100% custom styling for Easy Digital Downloads. Although Themedd is compatible with any Easy Digital Downloads extension, there are some that Themedd provides additional custom styling (and sometimes functionality) for. See the enhanced plugin integrations article for a list of these extensions. Custom styling and/or functionality for enhanced extensions are only loaded when that specific extension is installed and activated.

No, Vendd is still actively maintained and developed and that is not going to change.

Does this offer bulk editing of products? Does it allow the ability to sell products that have multiple versions?

For example: if the payment is $49/month will the theme display the “/per month” near the price in the single download?

Hi,
Is there a theme that comes without product images and a check-box against each product to select the products a user wants to purchase? A customer need not click on ‘Purchase’ or ‘add to cart’ for each product he is looking to buy.
I am looking to set up a website for selling pdf, doc, excel files. A typical page will be divided into various sections and each section may have multiple files that can be downloaded. I don’t need any image with the files – just the ‘pdf’/’exce’/’doc’ icon will suffice. I need the ease of ordering – a customer could tick boxes against each file he wants to download and then just click ‘purchase’ once at the end.
There is not one that I am aware of.

Hi, I am new at WP. I install Easy Digital Downloads + Themedd. Question: I don´t know how to show the appearance of the blog like a shop. I mean: what I need to do to my online shop looks like a shop and not a blog? 🙂
